We want to save the mother and the child.
BsideU For Life is committed to presenting the gospel of our Lord in word and deed by educating women facing crisis pregnancies, responding to their needs, and protecting the lives of unborn children. We are committed to provide these women with an open heart, an open mind, and an open ear to listen in order to respond to their needs.
We offer Life Skills Education to equip mothers and their children to live Godly and productive lives by sharing God’s word, encouraging Christian life choices, teaching practical living skills, and providing spiritual and emotional support. Our goal is to provide a safe and emotionally supportive place for women to hear and experience the transformative power of the Gospel while being equipped, in very practical ways, to live productive and flourishing lives.
Timeline & History
1988
A Woman’s Choice opened our first crisis pregnancy center in Hikes Point.
1994
Merged with Alternatives for Women Pregnancy Center and began operating our second pregnancy center located on Preston Highway.
1998
Our third location opened in downtown Louisville at 830 East Broadway (began operating under the name “A Woman’s Choice Resource Center”).
1999
The Hikes Point Center closed.
2001
The Broadway Center closed, and we opened a center at 101 West Market Street.
2002
The Preston Highway Center relocated to Trio Avenue.
2005
A Woman’s Choice expanded the ministry with the opening of Necole’s Place at the corner of Chestnut & Clay.
2006
The first class met at Necole’s Place.
2010
A Woman’s Choice opened an additional center at 140 West Market Street, adjacent to the only abortion clinic in Kentucky.
2016
Purchased the facility at the corner of 7th and Muhammad Ali to combine our main pregnancy center and Necole’s Place under one roof.
2017
A Woman’s Choice and Necole’s place merged into one combined center at 701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd under the name BsideU For Life.
2021
Our mobile pregnancy center was launched in March.
In November we started our outreach to fathers through our new men’s ministry.
2022
We expanded our mobile ministry from visiting 2 zip codes a week to 3.
In June, we launched our first weekly group meeting for Dads and we hosted our first Dad’s baby shower in December.
